NPV-Balken Expert Survey

Passive PV Window Shutter Actuation

Funded by FFG Austria | Project No. 64797010

About This Survey

The Austrian NPV-Balken project investigates the usability of wax motors for actuating PV-equipped window shutters that automatically turn towards the sun – without requiring electrical motors or control systems.

This survey explores expert opinions on different passive actuator technologies, with potential applications not only for building-integrated PV shutters but also for larger PV plant installations.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your expertise with us!
